Celebrating national landscape heroesPlug In Suffolk Car Clubs
Did you know that the average vehicle is parked 96% of the time? Car Clubs are trialling all-electric community vehicles in several locations across Suffolk so you can simply book a car when you need, cutting out the expense of car ownership.
The Suffolk Public Sector Leaders have funded an 18-month trial of all-electric car club vehicles across Suffolk. Members of the car club will have access to electric vehicles which they can book by the minute, hour or day with the trial starting next summer. Convenient and useful for Suffolk residents whilst improving air quality, reduced congestion and increased mobility to those without access to their own car.
Planned locations include Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, Sudbury, Needham Market, Stowmarket, Lowestoft and Woodbridge.
