An exciting event for Suffolk community groups who are working towards tackling climate change and striving towards the county’s ambition of Net Zero by 2030 at a grassroots level.
This event will enable community networking and connecting for groups, stakeholders and parishes that are working for environmental change whether that be energy efficiency, pro-environment and biodiversity, decarbonisation, Net Zero, greening your locality, instigating community energy or climate change awareness – as well as so much more.
The schedule for the day includes presentations, local stands showcasing projects, panel discussions and ample time for networking. Local voices on the ground are important in identifying priorities and gaps and this event will provide the perfect opportunity for sharing.
There will be one event in the West of Suffolk (this one) and one in the East, in Saxmundham on Saturday 4th November.
Following both days, it is hoped that smaller events will also take place. These will be hosted by communities who will showcase their initiatives and projects.
A couple of things about the events:
• Wherever you are located you can attend either day.
• Please send representatives rather than whole groups so that we can widen the reach as far as possible. We will always let you know of spare places.
