The Creating the Greenest County Awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate environmental excellence across Suffolk.
Back for another year, this is the 13th time we’ll be celebrating and showcasing how Suffolk’s individuals, communities, businesses, schools and third sector organisations are leading the way to meet the challenge of climate change.
This year we especially want to recognise the good work that takes place in the agriculture and agribusiness sectors. We’re extremely proud of Suffolk’s rural nature, and we aim to celebrate the most sustainable practices among our county’s diverse farming community.
It’s easy to enter the awards, and if you register your interest early one of our friendly team will be on hand to support you with your entry, so get in quickly and take advantage!
We know this will be another fantastic Awards, and look forward to hearing about all the good work that is happening across the county.
The shortlist of candidates will be announced towards the end of February and the winners will be announced at our special awards ceremony on the 27th March.

The livestream of the ceremony will run from 1:45pm – 3:30pm on Wednesday 27th March 2024 and will be posted to Suffolk County Council’s Youtube afterwards. You can access Slido on your mobile phone, tablet or laptop. It works through a webpage so there is no need to download an app or create an account.
Nominating and being nominated aren’t the only ways to take part – we’d love to hear from potential sponsors, judges and people who can help us spread the word to make the 2024 Awards the biggest and best ever!
The Greenest County Awards 2024 judges and sponsors will be announced on the 3rd January.
