Join the Coast & Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty team for a free online talk and Q&A all about climate change, its impact on nature, and what we can do as individuals and as a society to help reduce its effects.
Climate change is one of the most important challenges faced by society today and it has already started to shape the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty landscape and the wildlife within it.
When reading about climate change, the language and statistics involved can be confusing, and the discussions around what impact it will have on us and the planet in the future can be scary or overwhelming.
During this 60-minute online session we will cover:
- How climate change is negatively impacting upon people and nature
- How you can be part of the solution
- Answer your climate change questions
The two speakers at the event will be Alex Moore da Luz, AONB Nature Recovery Officer and Abigail Blake, Climate Emergency Communications and Engagement Officer of the Suffolk Climate Emergency Plan.
The event will take place Thursday 17 November 7pm to 8pm online via Microsoft Teams and is free to attend. Please note this talk is very much aimed at providing entry-level content and information to those looking to understand the basics of climate change.
Register your attendance here (Microsoft Teams).
