IKEA is working with the Let’s Go Zero campaign, delivered by climate solutions charity Ashden, which aims to help all 32,000 schools in the UK reach zero carbon by 2030.
At IKEA we want to make living healthy, sustainable lives as easy as possible, not just at home, but in the wider community too – and that includes schools. That’s because schools can play a huge role in educating future generations and empower all young people to take climate action.
But we need your help.
We’d love to hear what you’d like your school to do more of to help tackle climate change. From growing vegetables to composting and building bike sheds, the sky’s the limit.
IKEA and Let’s Go Zero will be selecting 4 winning ideas from schools across the UK and through products, solutions and funds (for the value of £2,000 for each project) we’ll bring these visions to life, helping you do your bit for the planet.

But before you apply, remember to sign up to Let’s Go Zero. Being a member of Let’s Go Zero is free and unites your school with other teachers, pupils and parents who are committed to working together to make schools zero carbon by 2030, while calling for much-needed government support to make this happen.
