Our next Carbon Literacy course will be delivered online starting on 21st April 2022.
What is Carbon Literacy?
Carbon Literacy is “an awareness of the carbon dioxide costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.”

Course Details
The course will cover:
- Understanding the science behind climate change and greenhouse gas emissions
- Carbon footprints and why these are important
- How our actions at home and at work can have an impact
- Carbon reduction targets
- Developing a carbon reduction plan
Our training is accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project and is aimed at all employees, from the shop floor to leadership.
The cost for Carbon Charter members is £95 per learner. Non-members are also welcome (at a cost of £150 per learner).
Learners must attend 3 two-hour online training sessions to be accredited as Carbon Literate.
