With the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) taking place this October, now is the time for businesses to consider how they too can contribute to net-zero.
Suffolk Chamber of Commerce will be holding a ten-steps to Net-zero webinar to help businesses understand how they can begin their climate journey.
The event brings together business leaders and key stakeholders for an informal discussion and to hear from several organisations about how they are taking steps to improve their own sustainability.
Speakers
The panel for discussion will be chaired by Andrew Harston, Regional Director at ABP, and will include:
- Peter Aldous, Member of Parliament for Waveney
- Daniel Johns, Head of Public Affairs at Anglian Water
- Julia Pyke, Director at Sizewell C
- Chloe Ennis, lead for the West Suffolk College Sustainability Institute
- Will Bridgman, Chair of Warren Services
During the Q&A we will also be joined by Transport East.
10 Steps to Net-Zero Document
The event will also see the launch of Suffolk Chamber of Commerce’s 10 steps to Net-Zero document which can be used by organisations to understand their own carbon footprint, and how to reduce it, including other hints and tips to make businesses more sustainable.
Agenda: 11:00am – 12:30pm (including a panel discussion, and interactive Q&A session)
