What is Apple Day, you may be thinking?
The tradition was started by the conservation charity Common Ground, with the aim of celebrating all the varieties of orchard fruit grown in this country. At our Lukeswood Apple Day Elmswell will include lots of stalls and activities that celebrate local food, crafts, wildlife, skills and environmental concerns, as well as showcasing Elmswell’s own community orchard. Fun, games and refreshments too – there’s something for everyone!
