Transition Woodbridge welcomes some of our area’s finest food and drink producers to their Harvest Fair on Saturday 14th September, 10am-4pm at Woodbridge Community Hall.
Thanks to Suffolk Bird Group, two bird walks are offered at the Harvest Fair this year. You’ll take a short stroll to the River Deben where SBG volunteers will tell you about the bird life on view, sharing binoculars & scopes to allow you to see our stunning wildlife up close. The walks leave the Community Hall (meet at the SBG stall) at 10.30am and 1.30pm and are free of charge, with donations to SBG welcome. Guests in the Main Hall include Hullabaloo Bakery, High House Fruit Farm, Redland Produce (venison), The Oak Tree Farm, Adnams and Truly Unique Pasta.
Meanwhile, the Hall Annexe hosts an exciting programme of talks and short films specifically aimed at teenagers and young adults – full details to come. There will also be refreshments courtesy of Woodbridge Country Market, ambient music from Jan Pulsford, bird walks with Suffolk Bird Group, and children’s activities.
The event is free, accessible and open to all. Venue – Woodbridge Community Hall. Harvest Fair – Transition Woodbridge
