Join Gaina from Barleybird, and Kate, our local grower and seed saving expert, for some informative and fun activities. No seed saving experience is necessary, but a love of growing and learning will help!

  • Which plants you can and can’t save seed from and why

  • Plant botany, pollination and plant selection

  • The stages of seed saving, including cleaning and storage

  • Practical skills through demonstrations and participation
