Join us on the eve of World Earth Day 2023 to understand the Value of the Circular Economy.
This year’s Earth Day theme asks us to: ‘Take care of the Earth, by taking care of its Ecosystems’
The extraction and production of material resources for goods and services all present significant impacts on the environment, economy, and human health. It stands to reason therefore that if we are to halt catastrophic biodiversity loss and stray away from the disastrous acceleration of climate change, we need to transition to a circular economy at a far greater rate than we currently are.
We are delighted to welcome keynote Jason Alexander, Suffolk’s Green Hero and founder of Rubbish Walks. He is joined by a variety of leading practioner organisations who are working effectively across the whole of the circular economy landscape.
Introducing our other wonderful speaker:
- Joolz Thompson: Community Climate Action
- Fiona Edwards: JPA Workspaces Furniture
- Ella-Rose Harrison Reeve: Spectra Packaging
- Chloe Donovan: Natural Building Systems
- Nick and Safety Woolley: Pilgrim’s Sustainable Houses
If you are keen to see how you can embed aspects of the circular economy into your organisation, or just want to share best practices through our open discussion sessions then we would be delighted for you to join us wherever you are on the journey!
Welcome drinks are available from 09:00 with the event starting at 09:30 and will end at 13:00.
Location: The Atrium Building, New Street, Ipswich IP4 1LQ.
